Cajun Fried Pickles
quantity based on preference (quantities listed were enough for about 30 slices)
All Purpose Flour
Preheat your frying oil to 350°
Combine all batter ingredients
Dip each pickle into the batter, then into the bread crumbs. Let sit for about a minute or two
Fry away. I usually do about 5-8 at a time, it makes it easier to flip and monitor them all
Let cool and enjoy
The cajun seasoning in the batter is really suttle in the final result. I like to add a little extra to the batter and some to the breadcrumbs.
Our favorite is to dip them in ranch!
