Steakhouse Burger and Bacon Sauce
Instructions

  1. In small saucepan, mix bacon, onion, sugar, salt and pepper.
  2. Cook for 3 minutes on low.
  3. Stir in ketchup.
  4. Cook 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat.
Burger
  1. Mix the beef, A1 sauce and salt & pepper.
  2. Shape into 4 patties.
  3. Grill 6-8 minutes each side to preferred doneness.
  4. Top with cheddar slices and grill 1 minute.
  5. Place patty on bun, spread sauce on top bun.
  6. Garnish with green onion, or veggies as desired.

Helpful Tips:

You can make the patties ahead, press between two pieces of waxed paper and refrigerate up to 24 hours.

The bacon sauce is flavorful enough on its own, you won’t need additional condiments.
